Emma was advised to try Pilates after having two children led to lower back pain. After being sceptical at first, she was amazed at how much Pilates helped relieve the pain.  She had also spent many years sat hunched over a desk in a corporate job in London and saw how this had affected her posture. Regular Pilates has also helped to improve this and made her feel better physically and mentally.

This discovery of Pilates and its benefits, led her on a new career path to train as a Body Control Pilates Level 3 Matwork teacher. She believes Pilates is beneficial to everyone and enjoys teaching Matwork classes to a wide variety of clients with different abilities. Emma loves teaching small group classes as it allows her to work closely with clients to ensure they are getting the most out of each exercise.
