Having worked in the fitness industry as an exercisers instructor Rachel began her Pilates training in 2003 with Cherry Baker’s Modern Pilates. After over 2 and a half years she covered Mat work, rehabilitation approaches and postural alignment.
Between 2010 and 2015 Rachel studied the Pilates reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair and Ladder barrel with Gordon Thomson and Ellie Ioannidou.
She has a small equipment studio and teaches Pilates Mat Work classes with a focus on functional movement, and is a member of the Body Control Pilates Association.
Added to this Rachel has a background in Mental Health and is interested in the link between our physical and mental well being. Besides her passion for Pilates, Rachel is also a keen horse rider, skiier and dog walker.
